Individual Poster
After the researching into some posters for the genre of our film I began creating the idea I had for my own particular poster. I went for a darker colour scheme as it fits the thriller genre of the film and helps to signify to the audience. I went with darker reds and greys as red and grey are primary colours in our film so puts a link with them but while also keeping with the general colour scheme that is represented with thriller films. I went with a more Sans Serif as I think that it fit well with the overall style of the poster itself. I added a shadow effect behind the font so it stood out more against the dark background. For the centre image of the poster I first began by creating a background for the poster I used some shots from the film and made them into a collage and then manipulated them by using filters and colour correction. I did the same for the image of the two people which is he main protagonist of the film however I manipulated it in a ay in which you cant tell who it is for certain so adds mystery to the poster.
I thought that overall this poster is of both good quality and conforms to the genre of our film however to improve upon it I could add additional text outlining key information such as the production company, sponsors and distributor.
